Alyssa Healy has been a giant of a player in world cricket. The 32-year-old has played 94 ODIs and scored 2639 runs at a strike rate of 100.18. When it comes to the T20Is, the wicketkeeper-batter has accumulated 2489 runs in 141 matches at a strike rate of 126.92.

UP Warriorz acquired the services of Healy at the WPL 2023 auction and handed over the captaincy reins of the side. The Australian batter did not have a great start to the season with the bat and registered scores of 7 and 24 in the game against Gujarat Giants and Delhi Capitals respectively.

However, in the encounter against Royal Challengers Bangalore, Healy came to her own and knocked the wind out of the opposition’s bowling attack. She plundered 96* runs off 47 deliveries and helped UP hunt down the target of 139 runs in 13 overs itself.
