The 30-year-old was part of the Indian team that finished in the runners-up position in the 2017 ICC Women’s World Cup. When Sushma entered the auction, the Gujarat franchise left no stone unturned to draft her into the side and eventually roped her in for INR 60 lakh.
9. Sneh Rana
Sneh Rana has been a proven performer for India across formats. She has featured in 22 ODIs and bagged 24 wickets at an economy of 4.66. Talking about the shortest format, the 28-year-old has picked up 24 scalps in as many games at an economy of 6.11.
Moreover, Rana is no muck with the bat and has played crucial cameos slotting in at the lower order for the Women in Blue. The bowling all-rounder’s inclusion provides depth to any side and thus, Gujarat signed her for INR 75 lakh at the auction.
