5. Megan Schutt & Preeti Bose
Megan Schutt will lead the bowling attack of RCB in the inaugural edition of the tournament. With her vast international experience, she received INR 40 lakhs in the auction and made it to RCB’s 2023 squad. After bagging the contract, she will be expected to help her team dominate in the competition.
Speaking of Schutt’s bowling figures in T20Is, the veteran has picked 117 wickets in 92 matches at an economy of 6.20. She has fine numbers in WBBL too as the 30-year-old represents Adelaide Strikers and has scalped 114 wickets in 113 contests at an economy of 5.76. With this incredible and huge experience in the T20 form, she could help her franchise pull off the title in the first season.
The franchise will also rely on team Railways' Preeti Bose to bolster their bowling unit. The 30-year-old featured last in the 2021-22 edition of the Women’s Senior One-Day Trophy. In the tournament, she took two wickets in four contests at a magnificent economy of 1.64. Noting her experience, RCB picked the veteran at her base price of INR 30 lakh.
