Tanuja Kanwar who played for Gujarat Giants picked five wickets in their eight matches of the Women’s Premier League. The Shimla-born spinner has had a difficult time in the tournament. Kanwar picked her first wicket in Gujarat Giants’ first match against Mumbai Indians.

She last picked a wicket in GUJ-W’s final match against UP Warriorz. She dismissed GUJ-W batter Devika Vaidya for just seven runs. Gujarat Giants have been knocked out from the first-ever WPL season after a poor performance throughout the season. They have only won two of their eight matches and finished at the bottom of the points table.
