Shabnim Ismail is one of the most experienced cricketers in WT20Is. The veteran made her debut back in 2007 but is a regular member of the side since 2009. This month, she will look to do well in the WIPL auction 2023 and participate in the mega competition to be held next month.

Her base price at the event will be INR 40 lakhs, which could prove a decent deal for the franchises. The 34-year-old medium pacer has picked 115 wickets in 107 matches at an economy of 5.76. In the Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL), Ismail plays for Melbourne Renegades and has taken 14 wickets in 15 matches at an economy of 6.57.

Besides WBBL, Ismail also represents Oval Invincibles (Women) in The Hundred Competition of England. Last year, she contributed to the Invincibles’ title triumph clinching five scalps in seven contests at an economy of 6.77.
