The bowling all-rounder was one of the key cogs in the Royal Challengers Bangalore line-up. She was able to scalp 8 wickets across 12 matches and was also a great contributor with the ball for the franchise. Her performances throughout all the games were crucial as the Royal Challengers Bangalore clinched their maiden WPL title against Delhi Capitals in the final.
Georgia Wareham was purchased by the Gujarat Giants in the inaugural edition of the Women’s Premier League for INR 40 Lakh. But was later released by the franchise ahead of the second season. This prompted the Royal Challengers Bangalore to bid for her and have her for the season. She proved to be a worthy signing for INR 40 Lakh as she scored a valuable 141 runs as well.
