3. Vrinda Dinesh (UP Warriorz)
One of the two uncapped Indian players who rocked the Women’s Premier League 2024 Auction was Vrinda Dinesh. There was some hype around her name prior to the Auctions but the amount she actually went for might have caught many people off-guard. Royal Challengers Bangalore and UP Warriorz were in a serious bidding war and the latter got her services for a stunning INR 1.30 Crores.
But the big money signing could not deliver for the side as she could only muster 18 runs across the three matches she played in the tournament. The batter was later ruled out of the tournament due to an injury and this is how her maiden WPL campaign ended as well. If the team management backs her for the long-run, she might be retained by the side for the next edition.
