3. Tammy Beaumont
After going unsold in the 2023 WPL auction, Tammy Beaumont has submitted her name for the 2024 auction again. The veteran has played a lot of WT20I cricket for England in her 14-year career and during her vast career, she has scored 1721 runs in 83 innings of 99 matches at an ordinary strike rate of 108.37.
Recently, she showed up for Melbourne Renegades in the 2023 Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL) but couldn’t do wonders with her bat. As an opener, she failed to do big for the Renegades. Playing 14 games, she piled up only 296 runs at a strike rate of 119.35 and a poor average of 21.14. Beaumont’s overall WT20I numbers and the 2023 WBBL performance may not make her credible among the WPL franchises in the auction to take place on December 9.
