Unlike Rinku and Jaiswal, Arshdeep has the experience of playing international cricket. He made his debut for team India in the T20Is in 2022 after constantly doing well for Punjab Kings in the Indian Premier League. He made his debut during the tour of England and soon became a vital member of the T20I team.

Later in 2022, he played in the Asia Cup and the T20 World Cup. His spell against Pakistan in the T20 World Cup was one for the ages and exquisite. The left-arm pacer dismissed Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan and Asif Ali to help India restrict Pakistan below 160. Towards the end of the year, he made his ODI debut too.

Arshdeep has played 26 T20Is and 3 ODIs so far and could be a good option in the World Cup squad. India has no other prominent option for a left-arm seamer, and Arshdeep could be the answer. The Punjab star is known for his ability to swing the ball and delivering accurate yorkers, skills that could make him Team India's trump card.
