2. Mushfiqur Rahim
Mushfiqur Rahim is one of Bangladesh's most decorated batsmen and it is not surprising at all that he features in the elusive list. The wicketkeeper-batter began his World Cup journey by starring with the bat in his country's historic win over India in 2007. A few months after making his debut in international cricket, he scored an unbeaten 56 to help Bangladesh beat India for the first time in the World Cup.
In the 2011 World Cup, he did not have the best of outings before he starred with the bat in the 2015 World Cup by scoring three fifties. And his most prolific campaign in the World Cup came in 2019 when he finished the tournament as Bangladesh's second-highest run-getter.
He scored 367 runs in 8 matches at an average of more than 52 and a staggering strike rate of over 90. The right-handed batter also scored one century and two fifties during the campaign. Overall, Mushfiqur has scored 877 runs in 29 World Cup matches for Bangladesh so far.
