1. Shakib Al Hasan
It is only fitting that Bangladesh's most famous, influential and decorated player Shakib Al Hasan is at the helm of this list. Regarded as one of the best white-ball all-rounders of the game, Shakib made his debut for Bangladesh in 2006 and has played four World Cups so far.
Hasan made his World Cup debut in 2007 against India and played a memorable 53-run knock to help his country register its first-ever World Cup win over the Men in Blue. Since then, he has been a consistent performer for his team in the World Cup and enjoyed his best campaign in 2019 when he scored more than 600 runs. Only four players in the history of ODI cricket have scored more runs than him in a single edition of the World Cup.
Shakib scored 606 runs in eight games with the help of two centuries and a record five fifties in the 2019 world cup. The ace allrounder also picked up 11 wickets with his left-arm spin including a five-wicket haul. Overall, he has scored 1,146 runs in 29 games with the help of two centuries and 10 fifties in the world cup.
