Indian skipper Rohit Sharma’s Twitter account has caught the fan’s attention, after a series of unusual and bizarre tweets were made from the batters social media account. Fans of the 34-year old batter even claimed that his account could be hacked by some mischievous elements.
For the unversed, the prolific Indian batter will be playing his first Test match as captain against Sri Lanka, The clash is scheduled to to begin on March 4. The batter missed the Test series against South Africa due to an injury and now will be leading his troops to play a two-match Test series against the Lankan Lions.

Meanwhile, since March 1 morning, Rohit’s social media account has been making several bizzare tweets. At first a tweet from his account read: “I love coin tosses…especially when they end up in my belly!” Co-incidentally, Rohit has been winning many tosses lately after taking up the captaincy role.

Two hours later, a third tweet popped up from skipper’s account: “Cricket balls are edible…right?”

With the series of strange tweets coming from the skipper account, fans on social media got engaged as they came up with some witty replies. In fact, a majority of the fans were assured of Rohit’s account being hacked.
Coming to Rohit’s on-field affair, he”ll lead India in the upcoming two-match Test series against Sri Lanka. Standing in his first series as Test skipper, Rohit will have a lot to prove with both bat and as a captain in the longest format of the game. The 34-year old batter has played 43 matches in the format so far, scoring 3047 runs with an average of 46.88. The batter has 14 half-centuries, eight hundreds and a double-hundred under his belt as well.
Meanwhile, Indian stalwart Virat Kohli, who scored his last international century in Test format in November 2019, will be looking to end his long drought as well. The former skipper will also be playing his 100th Test match against Sri Lanka on March 4.
