The 24-year-old was roped in by Hyderabad at the IPL 2023 mini-auction for a whopping INR 13.25 crore. Born in Keighley, Yorkshire, Brook has announced himself as one of the most promising youngsters in world cricket at the moment and it was evident with his price tag at the IPL auction.

Royal Challengers Bangalore, Rajasthan Royals, and Sunrisers Hyderabad went after the English youngster, but Hyderabad outbid the other two franchises to secure the explosive batter’s services.

Former captain of the U19 England team, Brook has done really well in the longest format for England thus far. The right-handed batter has amassed 809 runs in ten innings and people are curious to see how he performs during IPL 2023.
