Shakib Al Hasan is a very reliable T20 cricketer and also a veteran campaigner. The Bangladesh T20I skipper had a good Bangladesh Premier League 2018 season. He was terrific as a bowler and scored some useful runs with the bat.

Shakib scored 211 runs in 13 games batting in the middle and lower-middle order. He registered a high score of an unbeaten 47 and scored his runs at a strike rate of 123. He registered much better numbers with the ball and ended the tournament as the leading run-scorer. The all-rounder picked up 22 wickets in as many games at an average of 13.22 and economy rate of 6.49.
