Mark Wood, a hit-the-deck bowler from England, has been in and out of the team primarily due to injuries. Bowling fast and beating the batsman by pace is his USP, unlike the other English bowlers who like to make the ball move in the air. It’s because of this variety that Wood has been an inevitable addition to the English ODI team. Nonetheless, he hasn’t enjoyed a good run in the year 2018.

Having played 16 ODIs in last 12 months, Mark has taken 13 wickets at an average of 57.92 and a strike-rate of 60.9. The numbers don’t gather much appreciation if you are a bowler in the English team where the stakes are too high. Hence, with not so good numbers up his sleeve, the Englishman forces himself in this list.
