After losing to the Rajasthan Royals for the second time this season, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) are back to their den where they will host the Punjab Kings (PBKS) on Sunday, April 30. Punjab Kings are coming off a loss against the Lucknow Super Giants in a game full of run-fest. LSG registered the second-highest score ever in IPL 2023 by adding 257 runs on the board which the returning Shikhar Dhawan-led side failed to chase
They now have no time to recover as they face CSK in their fortress known as Chepauk. Even though CSK had a bad time against the Royals, it wonβt affect them much as they have the conditions in favor of them and are a more balanced side when compared to Punjab Kings.
Their only concern would be whether to include Ben Stokes if he is fit or to stick to the same side as they normally do. Punjab on the other hand will be bringing in Harpreet Brar who will be useful in the Chennai wicket and will also be mostly relying upon their captain Shikhar Dhawan to score runs which is very crucial for PBKS.
