Delhi Capitals (DC) will be hosting Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) after their huge win against the table toppers Gujarat Titans in Ahmadabad. After posting just 130 runs on board, the Capitals’ bowlers stood up and defended the low score with Ishant Sharma holding back his nerve and winning the game for his side.
Royal Challengers Bangalore play at the Arun Jaitley stadium after another low-scoring thriller where they defeated Lucknow Super Giants in a match that was famous for the post-match altercations.
Virat Kohli would be expected to be RCB’s key player as he returns to Delhi where he was born and bred, with plenty of crowd support behind him. He has played more matches in Delhi and would very well know about the conditions which could be useful to Bangalore.
Delhi Capitals have constantly relied on their captain David Warner and Axar Patel to take them home which hasn’t worked for them in this tournament. However, every other player has finally managed to step up which could set the morale high. They are technically not out of the tournament with them having six points from the nine games they have played so far.
Bangalore on the other hand are in fifth position with them winning 5 out of 9 games. They would be hoping to get those two points which will make them enter into the top four of this year’s TATA Indian Premier League.
