Two out of those four teams will now meet in an all-important clash as the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) host the Rajasthan Royals (RR). Knight Riders earned their recent two points by defeating the Punjab Kings in a last-ball thriller while Rajasthan Royals would in huge pressure as they have lost all of their last three encounters.
Both KKR and RR have played 11 games each and a win here would take them to the third position. However, the team that loses the match might be eliminated from the competition since even if they win their remaining two, it would still take them to only 14 points which in all fairness will make it hard for them to qualify.
