After losing the first couple of games, Mumbai bounced back strongly by winning three consecutive games. However, they have gone down the ladder once again by losing their next two games to Punjab Kings and Gujarat Titans, respectively.
Rajasthan Royals are in a comfortable position with them, sitting at the top of the table by having 10 points with their NRR being +0.939. Rajasthan Royals have also had a better record against the Mumbai Indians over the past 3-4 years and would be the favorites to start around this time too.
Mumbai's inexperienced bowling attack has been put under the radar consistently, and they are desperate in getting things sorted out for this all-important match. Jos Buttler has been a real threat to Mumbai ever since he was released by the five-time champions, and therefore expect him to go against the MI bowling attack.
