BPL 2023: Match 12, CCH vs DD Match Prediction – Who will win today’s BPL match between Chattogram Challengers vs Dhaka Dominators?

The Match 12 of the ongoing Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) will see Chattogram Challengers (CCH) taking on Dhaka Dominators (DD) at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram on January 14. 

The Shuvagata Hom-led side lost their last match against Fortune Barishal and are currently fifth on the table. Despite Abu Jayed picking three wickets, the bowling unit was pretty average as four of their bowlers conceded more than eight runs per over in the last match.

Batting-wise, opener Usman Khan once again gave a good start but 203 was like a mountain to climb for the team. Ziaur Rahman played some phenomenal cricket in the middle as he scored 47* off 25 but that wasn’t enough as the team lost by 26 runs.

Just like the Challengers, Dhaka too lost their last match as their bowlers were pretty average. Six of their seven bowlers conceded nine or more than that every over and that’s a massive reason to worry about. Coming to their batting, only Mohammad Mithun (42) and skipper Nasir Hossain (44) looked decent in the previous match while seven of the batters didn’t even score in double digits.

Probable best bowler: Al-Amin Hossain

The veteran Al-Amin Hossain has been ruthless in the season so far. Despite leaking a lot of runs, the ace pacer picked up seven wickets from just two matches and only if he manages to be economical, the cricketer can be a force to reckon with.
