South Africa (SA) will look take an unassailable lead in the three-match series when they face Pakistan (PAK) in the second T20I at SuperSport Park, Centurion on Friday, December 13.
The Proteas scored 183/9 in their 20 overs in Durban after opting to bat first as David Miller played a stunning knock of 82 off 40, hitting four fours and eight sixes. Meanwhile, George Linde, who played his first international match in three years, provided the finishing touches with his whirlwind cameo of 48 off 24. South Africa recovered from 28/3 and 141/8 to put on an impressive total on the board. Abrar Ahmed and Shaheen Afridi were the pick of the bowlers for Pakistan as they picked up three wickets apiece.
In reply, Mohammad Rizwan held one end up for Pakistan but no one apart from Saim Ayub (31) showed the courage to come up trumps. The Pakistan captain toiled hard as he could not find the fence at regular intervals on the decent surface. In the end, Rizwan was dismissed by Kwena Maphaka in the last over for a 62-ball 74 as Pakistan lost the match by 11 runs. Linde backed up his batting heroics with a stunning four-for.

Pitch Report
The SuperSport Park in Centurion is known for producing some fantastic batting tracks. Last month, India scored 219/6 while batting first and restricted South Africa to 208/7. The new ball could move around a bit, especially in the second innings. However, the conditions will become easier for batting as the ball gets old. Winning the toss and putting on a big total on the board could be an effective strategy.

Probable Top Performers from SA vs PAK
Probable Best Batter: David Miller
David Miller played an exceptional knock in the first T20I, showing his phenomenal form. The southpaw's counter-attacking display stunned the Pakistan team and they failed to figure out a strategy to stop the carnage. If the Pakistani bowlers stick to the same plans they had in the first T20I and don't work on their mistakes, the 35-year-old will need no second invitation to annihilate them again.

Probable Best Bowler: Shaheen Afridi
Shaheen Afridi bowled well with the new ball and dismissed Rassie van der Dussen. The left-arm pacer picked up two more wickets later in the innings, including that of the rampaging Miller. Afridi will hold the key once again for the Men in Green with the new ball as Rizwan would want his ace speedster to pick up wickets upfront.
