Guyana Amazon Warriors (GUY-W) have a chance to confirm their spot in the finals and knock Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR-W) out of the ongoing Women's Caribbean Premier League (WCPL 2024) as the two teams lock horns on Monday, August 26, at the Brian Lara Stadium in Tarouba, in Trinidad.

Guyana started their campaign with a gut-wrenching one-wicket defeat versus defending champions Barbados Royals before registering their first win of the campaign against Trinbago Knight Riders by five wickets. Meanwhile, Trinbago, who finished last in 2023, have been overwhelmed in both their matches so far. They suffered a seven-wicket defeat in their first game against Barbados Royals before losing their most recent fixture to Guyana.

A win for Lauren Winfield-Hill-led Guyana will knock Trinbago out of the competition and make the last two league games inconsequential.
