For Ireland, captain Laura Delany was the only batter to cross the 100-run mark with 115 runs from three innings while Eimear Richardson took the highest four wickets.

Both teams faced each other twice in the T20I Tri-Series involving the Australian team in July this year. Pakistan won the first game by 13 runs on the D/L method as the second game was abandoned due to rain without a ball bowled.
