Abu Dhabi T10 League 2022 - Complete Squads of all teams after player drafts

Abu Dhabi T10 League is set to get underway in a couple of months' time and the player drafts for the tournament took place on Monday (September 26). UAE will host the sixth edition of the tournament and will be played from 23 November to 4th December this year. The T10 tournament is one of the best cricket leagues going around and fans have enjoyed watching the players go bang bang straightaway.  

Coming to the player draft this year, few names were retained by each of the squads from the 2021 edition. Dwayne Bravo (Delhi Bulls), Andre Russell (Deccan Gladiators), David Wiese (Deccan Gladiators), Mohammad Amir (Bangla Tigers), Matheesha Pathiraana (Bangla Tigers) are some of the popular names that were retained by their previous teams for the upcoming edition.  

The two new teams Morrisville Samp Army and New York Strikers will be led by David Miller and Kieron Pollard respectively and they have snapped up some fine names as well. Each team signed up one platinum player ahead of the draft and named one icon player for the season.  

Each of the squad has around 16-17 players while Sreesanth has been roped in a mentor for the Bangla Tigers. A lot of Sri Lankan players have been signed up for the league after their recent success in the Asia Cup 2022. Meanwhile, surprisingly there was no place for Bangladesh's sensational opener Tamim Iqbal among the teams in the player drafts.
