On July 15, 2024, minister for micro, small and medium enterprises, Kondapalli Srinivas, assured that the Andhra Pradesh government would offer comprehensive support to young and budding cricketers, including specialised training in academies overseen by international players.
Together with former Union Minister, P. Ashok Gajapathi Raju, he extended congratulations to cricketers G.S.P. Teja, Ashwin Hebbar, Kodavandla Sudharshan, and others from Vizag Warriors, as well as Gedela Srinubabu, CEO of Pulsus Group and franchise owner of the team, in Vizianagaram.
In this context, the team convened with Ashok Gajapathi Raju, Srinivas, and other public officials.
Reflecting on his ties with the Andhra Cricket Academy, Ashok highlighted Vizianagaram's reputation for excellent sports infrastructure, notably the Vijji Stadium.
