Ahead of the T20 World Cup 2024, the Pakistan cricket team recently underwent military drills at an army camp in Kakul. The team attended the two-week camp at the Army School of Physical Training.
The clip of the same was shared by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). In the video, various stars were seen completing the drills, with some even struggling to complete.
“A candid peek into the Pakistan team's training at the Army School of Physical Training (ASPT), Kakul,” the PCB captioned the post. Furthermore, reports came forward that the training camp would conclude on April 7.
The players will depart from Abbottabad on the afternoon of April 7 for Rawalpindi, where they will join Army Chief General Asim Munir for Iftar, with them returning to their homes the same night.
Furthermore, the camp was conducted in hopes of getting the side back on track ahead of the T20 World Cup 2024, which is set to be hosted in the Caribbean and the USA.

Pakistan set to host New Zealand in a five-game T20I series
Speaking of Pakistan’s upcoming assignments, ahead of the T20 World Cup, Pakistan will be hosting New Zealand in a five-game T20I series. The matches will be played on April 18, 20, 21, 25, and 27.
Furthermore, the first three T20Is of the series will be played at the Rawalpindi Stadium, with the remaining two matches all set to be held at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
The side recently travelled to New Zealand for a five-game T20I series in January 2024, where they lost the series 4-1, however, taking on the Black Caps in their home, Pakistan will hope that the story will be different this time around.
