Team India's unblemished record at the Asia Cup 2022 was erased on Sunday after suffering a narrow defeat in an enthralling contest against arch-rivals Pakistan in Dubai. Following that loss, the Indian team players, including head coach Rahul Dravid, captain Rohit Sharma, and vice-captain KL Rahul greeted fans outside the stadium.

The Indian team suffered a heartbreaking loss in their first Super 4 clash and now faces a stiff challenge against Sri Lanka and Afghanistan if they wish to make it through to the final on Sunday, 11th September. Although their team were defeated by arch-rivals Pakistan, the Indian fans gathered around the team bus to meet their heroes and show their support.

Former Indian skipper and current head coach Rahul Dravid was the first to acknowledge the fans who had gathered around the team bus as he stopped to sign a few autographs before boarding the bus. Indian batting ace Virat Kohli, who scored his second successive half-century in the continental tournament, was next but went straight into the team bus while pointing towards his cramps, which he sustained while fielding in the match.

KL Rahul, who regained a bit of form in the blockbuster clash, was the next one to greet the Indian fans on his way to the team bus and signed a few autographs and gave fist pumps to fans along with posing for selfies. Lastly, it was Indian skipper Rohit Sharma who posed for selfies with the fans outside the Dubai International Cricket Stadium before leaving the venue.

Suryakumar Yadav, Deepak Hooda, and Ravichandran Ashwin were also spotted by the fans in the video. The fans can be seen wishing the Indian team good luck for their remaining Super 4 matches against an in-form Sri Lanka and a resurgent Afghanistan side. The Men in Blue will clash against Sri Lanka on Tuesday, 6th September in a potential knockout match as the defending champions need to win both their remaining matches to qualify for the final.
