Virat Kohli came up with an epic reaction after watching Suryakumar Yadav from the other end as he bowed in front of him at the end of the innings against Hong Kong in Asia Cup 2022. The former Indian captain thoroughly enjoyed the innings from the 31-year-old as he had the best seat in the house as the Mumbaikar went bang bang in the final overs.
Suryakumar had the platform set for going after the bowling straight away and he capitalised brilliantly on the opportunity, managing to use the depth of the crease and his wrists to effect whenever the Hong Kong bowlers pitched the ball the middle and leg. He finished unbeaten on 68 off just 26 balls with a strike rate of 261.54, with his stupendous knock including six fours and six sixes.
In the final over, Suryakumar managed to hit three consecutive sixes off the bowling of Haroon Arshad and hit another maximum on the fifth delivery to end up scoring 26 runs in the final over, taking India's total to 192 in their 20 overs. It was a massive score considering that India was scoring at the rate of around seven at the end of 10 overs.
After the innings, Kohli could not stop himself from bowing to Suryakumar for his incredible batting display.
