Fresh off of defeating Pakistan in a two-game Test series in their backyard, the Bangladesh cricket team is all set to return home on September 4. The side left Pakistan on September 3 in two groups, the first group arrived back home at 11:30 pm from the UAE while the second group arrived at 2:00 am from Qatar.

Apart from Shakib Al Hasan, all 16 members of the team will arrive along with a portion of the coaching staff. It is worth noting that Shakib won't be with the team as he has left for the UK. The star allrounder will play for Surrey in the County Championship on September 9.

As per the Daily Star, the rest of the squad, however, will start gearing up for their upcoming assignments. Bangladesh are all set to take on India across two Tests and three T20Is. The side will be leaving for India on September 15. Speaking of the first Test of the series, it will be held in Chennai on September 19, and veteran Shakib Al Hasan will join Bangladesh the same day that they leave for India.
