Sunrisers Hyderabad's pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar summed up the nature of T20 cricket and highlighted its challenges for the bowlers. This revelation came after SRH clinched a narrow victory against the Punjab Kings in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) season.
SRH registered their third win while handing Punjab their first defeat at home. With this, SRH now have six points in the five games and sit in 5th position in the points table.
"That is the beauty of the T20 game for the spectators, not for the bowlers (smiles)," Kumar said in the post-match conference after SRH's victory as quoted by TOI. The match played at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium, Mullanpur saw a run-fest, with both teams going past the 180-run mark.

SRH posted a challenging total of 182/9, thanks to a solid half-century from young Nitish Reddy and some late blows from Abdul Samad and Shahbaz Ahmed. In response, the hosts had a shaky start to their chase as they kept losing wickets at regular intervals.

But lower-order batters Shashank Singh and Ashutosh Sharma almost pulled off and took it till the final over but fell short by a mere two runs and PBKS ended their innings at 180/6. Kumar pointed out, the bowlers were very much at the mercy of the batters on the day. "The wicket changed a lot in the last few overs, we scored runs and they scored runs as well. Good to get a win," he added.
