Pakistan Cricket team is having a great time in India as they’re in the cricket-crazy nation for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 scheduled to begin from October 05. The Babar Azam-led side is receiving the hospitality of the highest standards as the organisers are making sure they love each and every second of their stay in India. Notably, Pakistan arrived in Hyderabad on September 28 ahead of their warm-up fixtures against New Zealand and Australia.

Ahead of the tournament, all the captains of the ten participating teams attended the World Cup 2023 Captain’s Round table on Wednesday, October 04. During the event, Pakistan captain Babar Azam was asked whether he liked the famous Hyderabadi Biryani by former India Cricketer turned Commentator Ravi Shastri. Babar was left in splits while answering the question and replied that he’s already answered the question over 100 times.

“Babar Biryani kaisa tha (How was the Biryani?),” asked Ravi Shastri. “I’ve already told 100 times. It was good, I had heard that Hyderabad’s Biryani is good and we loved it,” replied Babar.

Notably, several videos of the Pakistan team enjoying lavish dinner during their stay in Hyderabad have gone viral all over social media. The cricketers even rated the stable delicacy of Hyderabad in a fun video shared by the ICC (International Cricket Council) where they were asked to choose between Hyderabadi Biryani and Karachi Biryani.

Babar rated Hyderabadi Biryani a bit spicier than Karachi one while Haris Rauf ended up rating it 20 out of ten.
