Punjab Kings' (PBKS) left-arm spinner Harpreet Brar stated that he is 'blessed' with his performance against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the IPL 2024 on Monday, March 25. Notwithstanding his efforts, PBKS suffered a four-wicket defeat in the match.
Brar was the pick of bowlers for Punjab while defending their 176-run total. He finished with outstanding figures of 2/13 as he cleaned up Rajat Patidar before removing the dangerous Glenn Maxwell. While speaking about his spell, Brar stated that he attempted to build pressure using dot balls.
“I wanted to give as few runs as possible, and I am blessed that I got two wickets with that. When we were defending, I was looking to build pressure via dot balls, which gives you chances of picking up wickets,” Brar said of his spell in the post-match press conference, as quoted by India Today.
