Amid imminent political undercurrent between neighbours India (IND) and Pakistan (PAK), any cricket match becomes a breathtaking display of hunger— in an ideal world, one that could have taken place on Pakistani soil. However, those hopes have turned gloomy, and instead, cricket’s most intensified and passionate rivalry will resume at the Dubai International Stadium, in Dubai. Notably, the archrivals are set to clash on February 23, in the upcoming ICC mega cricket event, Champions Trophy 2025

Based alongside the ICC (International Cricket Council) headquarters, Dubai’s central cricket ground has long served as a neutral ground for high-profile battles and rifts. However, they have often suffered from a lack of atmosphere in their previous matches, with vacant seats and scorching hot weather creating a somewhat bleak environment.

However, this time, the demand has been mind-boggling. The entire tickets were sold out within minutes of the frame, reflecting the rapacious hunger for the ultimate India-Pakistan showdown. As per forbes.com, the prices ranged from INR 11815 for the cheapest stands to over INR 1,12,933 for premium spots in approximate costs.

This madness follows the bizarre demand for their previous meeting in New York last June, at the T20 World Cup where accommodation tickets were sold out again for an eye-watering INR 2,17,243.77 to INR 8,68,975 approximately.

India to kickoff Champions Trophy campaign on February 20

For those who still looking to dive into the action, tickets stay accessible for India’s tournament opener against Bangladesh, to be played on Thursday, February 20. General admission seats are priced at INR 5,908.89, while hospitality packages are available for around INR 47,774.92. With a box full of hope, emotion and anticipation at the fever pitch, another electrifying chapter of passion and hunger in this storied rivalry awaits.
