The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has confirmed that the spectators will be refunded in full for the washouts in Rawalpindi during Champions Trophy 2025. Notably, two key matches at the venue have been abandoned without toss.

The first game with such fate was scheduled between Australia and South Africa on February 25 while the second game was only two days later, on February 27, between hosts Pakistan and Bangladesh, which saw spectators returning without witnessing any cricketing action.

According to the PCB Ticket Refund Policy, the refunds can be claimed at select TCS outlets between March 10 2025 to March 14, 2025. The Policy also states that the documents required for the refund are "original and undamaged tickets as proof of purchase, and the purchaser must visit the TCS outlet personally."

"As per the PCB ticket refund policy for Champions Trophy, ticket holders are eligible for a full refund if the match was abandoned before the toss. All enclosure tickets will be refunded," the PCB said in a statement.

"Ticket holders of hospitality tickets (boxes and PCB gallery) will not be eligible for a refund. Eligible ticket holders can claim their refund at select TCS outlets between March 10 and March 14. To process the refund, ticket holders must present an original, undamaged ticket as proof of purchase and must personally visit the TCS outlet, as refunds cannot be claimed on behalf of someone else," it added.

Meanwhile, the group stage clashes will conclude with the final game between India and New Zealand in Dubai on March 2. The winner of the clash will face Australia while the loser will play South Africa, the other two teams which have qualified for the semi-finals from Group A. The first semi-final will be played in Dubai on March 4, followed by the second one in Lahore on March 5.

The tournament finale will be played in either Lahore or Dubai on March 9 as per the hybrid model, depending on India's qualification.
