The ODI World Cup 2023 kickstarted its journey on October 5 with a game between England and New Zealand at the Narendra Modi Stadium. Apart from Ahmedabad, there are nine other venues at which fans will witness the breathtaking cricketing action across a period of 45 (or 46 if the Reserve Day comes into play) days. To make the viewing experience worth every penny, the host cricketing board, BCCI, has ensured to provide a best-in-class experience to the spectators.

Keeping terrible online booking experiences apart, the entry and exit to and from the venues is a negligible hassle for the fans if they show up at least one and a half hour prior to the game (Well, that is what one should). Basic but strict security checks with proper guidance to entry and exit from gates surely provide for a stress-free entrance to your favourite seats.

However, the biggest stress that eats the fans is to reach the venue. To counter this, the local state cricket associations have partnered with public transport providers (Metros, Intracity Busses, Shuttle Service, etc.) for the fans to and from the stadium. There shouldn't be any worry about carrying change or hard cash, as just bearing a ticket will give you access to these facilities at no extra cost.

Additionally, the service timings for these services have been modified as per match timings so that even a rain delay doesn't give the fans a troubling thought while they're seeing their favourite athletes on the world cricket's grandest stage.

Now imagine a fan going to watch a game that starts at 2 PM IST in hot and humid conditions; he or she surely won't mind a Coke or a Kulfi stick to beat the heat. However, one might not always want to splurge money on these things, which has made BCCI provide free packaged and mineral drinking water to quench thirsty throats.

The food options are also plenty, so the fans get the luxury of filling their tummy with their favourite dishes, so that won't be worrisome. With this, all the fans can do is grab a Samosa or some fritters and enjoy the scintillating cricketing action with each bite. One thing to note is that portions are bite-sized and are just a little heavy on the pocket.

Earlier, the visuals and experiences that the players had while using the washrooms were nothing less than pathetic. However, this time, fans will have cleaner and hygienic toilets whenever they use one.

The on-ground DJs and Mascots ensure that fans don't stop shouting and cheering for the teams they support, even when the game is going at a slow pace. If all this is not enough, you also get an additional discount on merchandise at the official counters with your ticket.

With that said, fans are ready to witness a better experience when they go in to cheer for their countries from the arena.
