CPL 2024 will begin on August 30.
The 12th edition of the Caribbean Premier League will begin on August 30 with Antigua and Barbuda Falcons taking on St Kitts and Nevis Patriots at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium. A total of six teams will be participating in the upcoming tournament, out of which, four of the teams will be qualifying for the playoffs.
The top two teams in the table will be battling in Qualifier 1 and the winner of the match will make it to the final while the losing team will have another opportunity. The third and fourth placed teams will be playing the Eliminator and the winner of the game will play the loser of Qualifier 1. The winner of that game will eventually qualify for the final, which is slated to take place on October 6 in Providence Stadium, Guyana.
Defending champions Guyana Amazon Warriors will be taking centre stage on the second day of the competition, i.e. August 31. Meanwhile, the first leg of the competition will be taking place at Antigua and St Kitts. It will then move on to St Lucia and Barbados and finally to Trinidad and Guyana.
