Curtis Campher joins Multan Sultans, replaces Gudakesh Motie

The 10th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) is currently underway, and in a mid-season move, Multan Sultans have added Ireland all-rounder Curtis Campher to their squad as a replacement for West Indies’ Gudakesh Motie.
The right-arm medium pacer brings valuable experience to the side, having played 96 T20 matches in his overall career, scoring 1,433 runs and picking up 67 wickets. For Ireland, the right-handed all-rounder has featured in seven Tests, 43 One-Day Internationals, and 61 T20 Internationals. In T20Is, the 26-year-old has scored 924 runs and taken 31 wickets.
Gudakesh Motie moved away from the squad and returned to Guyana due to a domestic commitment.

The Multan Sultans, led by Mohammad Rizwan, have had a tough start to their PSL 2025 campaign, losing all three of their matches so far and currently sitting at the bottom of the points table.
In their season opener against Karachi Kings, though, they posted a formidable total of 234 runs, with a brilliant 105-run knock by skipper Rizwan, the Sultans lost by four wickets. In their second match, they suffered a 47-run defeat at the hands of Islamabad United. The third fixture against Peshawar Zalmi saw them crash to a massive 120-run loss, further deepening their poor form in the season.
Multan Sultans will now look to turn their fortunes around when they face Lahore Qalandars in the 12th match of the tournament, set to take place at the Multan Cricket Stadium on April 22. The team will be eager to register their first win of the season and get their campaign back on track.
