New Zealand batters were in full swing against the Netherlands during Match 6 of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad. After being put in to bat first by Netherlands captain Scott Edwards the Kiwis posted a massive score of 322/7 in their allotted 50 overs with Will Young (70 off 80), Rachin Ravindra (51 off 51) and Tom Latham (53 off 46) all scoring half centuries.
In reply, Netherlands didn’t get off to a great start as they were reduced to 67/3 after 16.4 overs with Vikramjit Singh (12 off 20), Max Odowd (16 off 31) and Bas de Leede (18 off 25) all back in the pavilion. Trent Boult played a major role in dismissing De Leede as he took an incredible catch to dismiss the Dutch batter at long-off.
