DC Team 2024 Players List: Complete Delhi Capitals (DC) Squad and Players List for WPL 2024

The Delhi Capitals finished as runners-up in the inaugural season of the Women’s Premier League (WPL), losing to the Mumbai Indians in the final. Leading up to the second auction, Delhi aimed to capitalise on the opportunity to fill the gaps in their remaining three slots.

They had one overseas and two Indian slots to fill in the auction. They released players like Aparna Mondal, Jasia Akhter, and Tara Norris, while retaining key players such as Meg Lanning, Jemimah Rodrigues, Marizanne Kapp and Shafali Verma.

In the previous season, the Capitals played nine matches, securing victory in six to reach to the final. During the auction, they made one of the biggest acquisitions by securing Annabel Sutherland, an Australian all-rounder, for INR 2 crore after being in a bidding war with the Mumbai Indians. Ashwani Kumari and Aparna Mondal were other two players bought by DC for INR 10 lakh each.
