England are all set to travel to the Caribbean islands to face the West Indies in a three-match ODI series followed by five T20Is. The first ODI is set to be played in North Sound, Antigua on Thursday, October 31.
One week before the first ODI, the Three Lions bolstered their squad by adding leg-spinner Rehan Ahmed and wicketkeeper-batter Jordan Cox. The former is currently playing the third Test between England and Pakistan in Rawalpindi. He will be released from the squad after the completion of the red-ball encounter and is likely to miss the first ODI against Shai Hope's men. Meanwhile, Cox is also a part of the Test squad but hasn't received his maiden cap as yet. He will return to the UK on October 24 before joining the white-ball squad.

"Jordan will leave at the end of today's play and head home to the UK, before joining our white-ball tour of the Caribbean. Rehan will also join the white-ball squad at the end of this Test match," England said in a statement.
Jordan Cox in line to make ODI debut in the Caribbean
Cox, 24, has played two T20Is so far in his international career. However, he is yet to feature in an ODI for the Three Lions. With Jos Buttler ruled out of the ODI series due to his ongoing calf injury issue, Cox has an opportunity to make his debut in the 50-over format. Phil Salt is expected to don the wicketkeeping gloves, while Cox can play as a specialist batter. Meanwhile, Liam Livingstone will lead the side in Buttler's absence.
