The England and Wales Cricket Board announced the squad for the upcoming five-match ODI series against Australia, slated to begin on September 19 in Trent Bridge. Captain Jos Buttler has been ruled out of the series owing to a calf injury and in his absence, Harry Brook will be leading the team.

Pacer Josh Hull, who recently earned his debut call in the England set-up has also been ruled out with a quad injury. Meanwhile, Liam Livingstone, who was adjudged the Player of the Match for the second T20I against Australia has been named in the squad for the five-match series.

Meanwhile, keeper-batter Jonny Bairstow has been overlooked for the series.
