PCB officially announced the Pakistan Women's squad for the ICC Women's Cricket World Cup Qualifiers. Fatima Sana will lead the 15-member squad, which will hope to make it to the World Cup. Shawal Zulfiqar will return to the team for the first time in over 16 months. The squad includes Muniba Ali as the deputy to Fatima in the tournament.

The Women in Green's squad has some talented players who will play a key role in their team's qualification. Some of the most notable inclusion of players in their squad include Diana Baig, Nashra Sindhu, Gul Feroza, Alia Riaz, alongside other emerging talents. The squad has a good mix of youth and experience.

Some of the players in the squad like Umaima Sohail, Natalia Pervez, Syeda Aroob Shah, Sidra Amin, Sadia Iqbal, Ramin Shamim, Najihah Alvi, and Sidra Nawaz, will hope to make a mark in the tournament. The Qualifers could prove to be a stage that can challenge these players, which could be a great preparation for the World Cup.

The ICC Women's Cricket World Cup Qualifier will take place from April 9 to 19 in Pakistan. Lahore's two stadiums, Lahore City Cricket Association Ground and Gaddafi Stadium, will host all the matches. The schedule for the tournament is out, and many teams have announced their squads.

The Qualifiers will be played by Bangladesh, Ireland, Scotland, Thailand, and the West Indies, apart from Pakistan. Each team will face their opponents once in the tournament, leading to a total of five matches per team. Two teams that finish the league at the top will qualify for the Women's Cricket World Cup.
