Gujarat Titans' Robin Minz gets involved in road accident, currently under observation in hospital
The incident, as narrated by Robin's father, Francis Minz, unfolded on Saturday when the young cricketer lost control of his bike after an unintended encounter with another bike.
Jharkhand's rising star, Robin Minz, found himself amid an unfortunate road accident over the weekend. The 21-year-old wicketkeeper-batter's love for superbikes took an unexpected turn when his Kawasaki superbike collided with another motorcycle.
The incident, as narrated by Robin's father, Francis Minz, unfolded on Saturday when the young cricketer lost control of his bike. Consequently, this resulted in an unintended encounter with another bike. The collision led to a severe damage to the front half of Robin's Kawasaki, but, fortunately, initial reports suggest that the injuries sustained are not as serious as they might have been.
"He lost control when his bike came in contact with another bike. Nothing serious at the moment and he is currently under observation," Minz's father disclosed as per News 18.
While reports reassure that Robin Minz is presently under medical observation and dealing with visible bruises, the nature of the superbike accident prompts a cautious approach. The term 'bruises' might downplay the potential risks, and the young athlete is undergoing careful monitoring to ensure any underlying injuries are promptly identified and addressed. Gujarat Titans recently secured him for a substantial 3.60 crore in the latest Indian Premier League (IPL 2024) auction, following a fierce bidding war involving Chennai Super Kings, Sunrisers Hyderabad, and Mumbai Indians at the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai last year.
