Hardik Pandya launches personalised sportswear brand

Star India all-rounder Hardik Pandya has partnered up with sports merchandising company Fancode Shop to launch his sportswear brand, joining peers like Virat Kohli, Yuvraj Singh, and MS Dhoni. In a LinkedIn post to make the announcement, FanCode Shop confirmed the partnership with Pandya. 

This will be the first team-up between FanCode and Pandya, and the company even stated that the project had been in progress for almost a year. With the launch of the project, the customers will be getting direct access to Pandya’s exclusive activewear range.

 Pandya talked about how he wanted to build a brand that resonates with his journey as a cricketer and even connects with the youth of the country in the process. “By launching the identity and the range that I personally use and believe in, I feel like I’m sharing a piece of my daily routine and philosophy with my fans,” Pandya was quoted as saying by Business Standard. 

Hardik’s journey resonates with people: Fancode co-founder Yannick Colaco

The co-founder of FanCode, Yannick Colaco expressed how excited he is about the partnership with PandyaHe highlighted how a major audience relates with the Indian all-rounder and his cricketing journey. He also expects the brand to resonate with not just fitness freaks, but with Pandya’s fans across the globe as well. 

“As one of the fittest athletes and an inspiring national icon, Hardik’s journey resonates with people from all walks of life,” Colaco said.

Speaking of Pandya, he has been selected for India’s upcoming white-ball tour to Sri Lanka. The Men in Blue will face Sri Lanka in a three-game T20I series, which will be followed by a three-game ODI series. Pandya, who is only included in the T20I squad, has not been named the skipper, with Suryakumar Yadav chosen for the role. Notably, Pandya was deputy to Rohit Sharma in last month's T20 World Cup, which India won. However, Shubman Gill has been named the vice-captain alongside Yadav for the Sri Lanka series.
