The Indian team has managed to put the Australian side under heaps of pressure with their excellent bowling in the second innings of the Boxing Day Test. The Indian team posted a total of 369 runs in the first innings and had Australia on a score of 53-2 by the time of lunch on day 4.
Furthermore, through Mohammed Siraj and Jasprit Bumrah’s brilliance, the Indian team was on top of Australia, and with the majority of the Australian batters back in the dressing room, Marnus Labuschagne looked to be the final hurdle for the visitors.
A chance came begging when Akash Deep bowled to Labuschagne, and the batter played the ball to Yashasvi Jaiswal in the slips. However, in a moment of blunder, Jaiswal dropped the catch, and Skipper Rohit Sharma could not help but hide his frustration. He punched the air in a moment of anger, and the moment did not sit well with the commentators.
Former Australia cricketer Michael Hussey came forward and opined that he did not like Rohit’s reaction to Jaiswal dropping the catch.“I don’t like that reaction from the Indian skipper. I know he’s emotional and he desperately wants wickets but you’re the one that has to send the message of calm and support,” Hussey said while commentating on air.
“No one means to drop a catch. He’ll feel bad enough as it is for putting a catch down, particularly someone like Marnus Labuschagne. It happens quickly – it’s in, it’s out. You don't need to see that as a young player,” he added.
Healy gave her two cents on Rohit's reaction to Jaiswal's catch drop
Furthermore, Australia women’s cricketer Alyssa Healy also gave her opinion on the same. She revealed that Rohit has to walk out to bat alongside Jaiswal in the second innings and help him win the game for India.

“You need him to walk out to open the batting alongside him as well. Make some runs to try and win a Test match for your country,” Healy said.
