India star bowler Jasprit Bumrah opens up on people criticizing his actions during his early days in cricket. The ace India pacer talks about what kind of impression the people had on his bowling action. This was a great story told by one of the best bowlers in the World in International Cricket.
The 2nd Test in Adelaide might have not ended on a great note for the Indian team, but there were still some great performances during the pink ball Test. One of the silver linings for the Indian team in the Test match was Jasprit Bumrah who is also the current highest wicket-taker in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy with 12 wickets in the first two games and also led the side to victory in Perth as well.
There is no doubt that Bumrah is among the best bowlers in Cricket history and has been one of the consistent bowlers for the Indian side in all formats of the game. This did not stop cricket fans from criticising his actions during his entire career. Bumrah also talked about the challenges he faced by some people who thought that he wouldn’t survive that long in the game.

“I don’t think a lot of people believed in me because they thought that this bowling action will not last for long. He’ll play for six months, seven months. So not really a lot of people worked on me or, you know, gave me inputs that, you know, I think this is useful or you should stop doing that because. I don’t think they saw a lot of merit.” Said Bumrah in an interview on Fox Sports.
“Nobody tried to change me, but nobody gave any extra solutions. So that worked out for the best in the greater interest, but then that helped me develop, you know, relying on yourself and having self-belief. So I think that worked out brilliantly for me." Bumrah concluded.
