India completed an easy victory over West Australia XI in Perth in the T20 World Cup Warm-up game on October 10. The skipper Rohit Sharma failed to get going but young sensation Suryakumar Yadav completed another fifty with the bat. However, Indian star batter Virat Kohli did not participate in the match.

After completing the match, Indian ace-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin was asked the question of why Kohli did not participate in the match. The veteran gave a cheeky response stating that he needs to be the coach of the Indian team to answer the question.

Your guess is good as mine: Ravichandran Ashwin on Kohli not playing the practice game

"I wish I could walk into Rahul Dravid's shoes one day and answer that question, but as of now, your guess is as good as mine," Ashwin said after the warm-up match.

The Men in Blue have been training at the WACA for the past three days. The Indian side was not at its best with the bat, but they ensured to post a competitive total on the board in the warm-up clash. The visitors scored 158/6 in their stipulated 20 overs. In reply, WACA XI managed only 145 in their 20 overs.

Indian pacers Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Arshdeep Singh blew away the home team's top-order inside the field restrictions. Meanwhile, a second-string of the Indian squad will take on South Africa in a series-decider to be played at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi on October 11.

Indian spinner Shahbaz Ahmed, who debuted in the previous match, performed well for his side and is likely to be included in the Indian squad for the final match. The likes of Shreyas Iyer and Ishan Kishan will want to continue their good form with the bat.

For South Africa, David Miller, Heinrich Klaasen, and David Miller might play a crucial role in the match for the visitors. The senior left-arm spinner Keshav Maharaj will also look to play a vital role in the encounter.
