Suryakumar Yadav took over as India's T20 captain after Rohit Sharma retired from the format last year. The latter announced his retirement after leading India to the T20 World Cup title in June. Suryakumar has produced excellent results, as India have won 15 out of the 18 matches they have played under his leadership.
Suryakumar's predecessor is known for his comments on the stump mic during matches. Fans have made the chirps viral on social media by giving them enormous love. One of his most famous stump mic chirps is ‘Garden mein ghoomne wale ladke’ (Boys who leisurely stroll in the garden) which he used for sluggish fielders during a match.
Suryakumar was recently asked whether the cricketers still roam around in the garden, now that Rohit has retired. The flamboyant batter hilariously replied that he doesn't put restrictions on his fielders from moving around as no one does it anymore. Suryakumar also mentioned that he tried to stay away from the stump mic as much as he can. He said that someone’s specialty should remain with them only.
"Nahi, mai nahi rokta hu kisi ko kyuki koi ghumta hi nahi hai. Try karta hoon door rahoon stumps se. Agar kisi ka woh specialty hai toh won unhe ke sath rahe toh zada better hai (I don't stop anyone because no one roams around.I try to stay away from the stumps. If it's someone's specialty, then it's better that it stays with that person only)," Suryakumar said on Star Sports.

Rohit also has the tendency to forget things and he uses the ye-woh’ (this-that’) language to communicate. Suryakumar was asked whether he is familiar with Rohit's unique way of talking. The Mumbai batter hilariously replied that he gets to listen to it whenever he goes for a walk in the garden.
"Haan woh jab hum ghumte rehte hai garden mai, woh sunne ko mil hi jata hai (Yes, when we roam in the garden, we get to hear those things.)," he added.
