‘I won't forgive MS Dhoni’ - Yograj Singh fires shots at MS Dhoni for ‘destroying’ Yuvraj Singh’s career
Yuvraj Singh played ODI World Cup for India in 2011 while battling against Cancer.
Yuvraj Singh’s father, Yograj Singh, recently came forward and lambasted former India skipper MS Dhoni for allegedly destroying Yuvraj’s career. Yograj talking negatively about Dhoni has been nothing new, and Yograj Singh is often seen criticising Dhoni.
It is worth noting that under MS Dhoni’s captaincy, Yuvraj Singh played a crucial role in the Indian team winning the 2007 T20 World Cup and the 2011 ODI World Cup in India. However, Yograj Singh came forward and blamed Dhoni for destroying Yuvraj’s career and revealed that he would never forget Dhoni for it. He also blamed Dhoni for destroying Yuvraj’s life and that his son should be awarded the Bharat Ratna for playing cricket with cancer.
"I won't forgive MS Dhoni. He should look at his face in the mirror. He is a very big cricketer, but what he has done against my son, everything is coming out now; it can never be forgiven in life. I have never done two things in life - first, I have never forgiven anybody who has done wrong for me, and second, I have never hugged them in my life, be it my family members or my kids," Yograj Singh told Zee Switch.
“That man (MS Dhoni) has destroyed the life of my son, who could have played four to five years more. I dare everyone to give birth to a son like Yuvraj. Even Gautam Gambhir and Virender Sehwag have said in the past that there won't be another Yuvraj Singh. India should award him the Bharat Ratna for playing with cancer and winning the World Cup for the country," he added.
