All throughout the tour to Pakistan, the Bangladeshi camp played with an immense bout of energy and spirits which led them to inflicting a historic cleansweep on the hosts, the first against Pakistan and Bangladesh's third on away soil as far as the red-ball format is concerned.
Post returning home on September 5, 2024, skipper Najmul Hossain Shanto was quite buoyant when it came to speaking about his side as well as what the future might possibly hold in store for them. Shanto was also confident of the systematic process they were following and was highly optimistic on their future series.

"Every cricketer will gain confidence from such a series win. The team's morale will be boosted. The series against India will definitely be challenging, and we need to come up with a new plan. If we give our best performance, we can achieve good results. Every match is approached with the belief that we play to win and we needed a solid example and we've provided that this time. We know if we continue to play and give our best in the game, we can defeat any team. Instead of focusing too much on the results, we should concentrate on our process. I believe we can perform well in the next two series," stated Shanto, as quoted by Cricbuzz.
All the coaches were with the players both at good and bad times: Shanto
Shanto was lavish in admiration for head coach, Chandika Hathurusingha, for setting a conducive ethos in the dressing room for all the players to be comfortable with, regardless of how they were performing during the games.
"Very good, I think the players are really clear with the coach and he was really supportive and gave proper plans to every player and the atmosphere in the dressing room was really wonderful. Those who performed and didn't perform, all were supporting and backing one another. All the coaches were with the players, both at good and bad times. According to me, the coach played a great role in the dressing room in this series," added Shanto.

As of now, it doesn't seem likely that the Bangladesh Cricket Board would be eyeing for a replacement for Hathurusingha considering the manner in which Bangladesh dominated Pakistan. However, it remains to be seen how Bangladesh fare against India in their two-match Test series, commencing on September 19.
